Wirecast Pro for apple download free12/31/2023 Although, you could do that if you had a beefy enough network (1080p60 is 200mbps)Ĭan you provide more detail on what your 'full NDI solution' needs to be? It's not like all that video goes through 1 computer in order to be routed. I don't think there really is 1 unified control system for NDI.Ī destination will pull the video from a source directly over the network. I imagine they also have a web interface and likely an API as well. These are configured by using menus on the host system. The NDI tools can also be sources or destinations (vie screen capture and virtual webcams). VMix can also be an NDI source, and be used by other destinations. Something like VMix will show all the Ndi sources available on the network so you can pull them into scenes. I also imagine that there is some sort of API available if you want to dig into creating your own control system. I imagine most other hardware NDI converters will have a web interface. They also have a tool for managing multiple destinations (central lite or central pro). So, any ndi destination can pickup any ndi source on the same network (or that is available via the various bridge programs).īirddogs work by using a web browser and connecting to a specific destinations IP address and configuring it to use a source.
